From Peñas Blancas border we will take you to the colonial city of Granada where we will visit its historic and natural sites. We will also visit Masaya’s Handcraft Market and Masaya Volcano Natural Park.
You will have the great experience of going to Ometepe Island, the biggest island in the world located inside a fresh water lake. The island is also known because it's formed by two volcanoes and it has important archeological sites. Finally we will go to San Juan del Sur, a beautiful bay on the pacific.
Itinerary
Day 01: Peñas Blancas – Granada
Greeting at your arrival at the Peñas Blancas Border, departure to Granada, on the way we will visit the Catarina’s Viewpoint. When we arrive to the Colonial City of Granada, we will do a City Tour.
Day 02: Granada / Masaya – Granada
To begin the day we will do a boat trip in Granada’s Islets. Later we’ll visit Masaya Volcano National Park, and then we'll go to Masaya’s Handicraft Market. Then we’ll return to Granada.
Day 03: Granada – Isla de Ometepe
Transfer to the fresh water port of San Jorge where we’ll take the ferry to island of Ometepe. At our arrival we’ll begin a cultural tour to the town of Altagracia.
Day 04: Isla de Ometepe
In the morning trekking through the cloud forest reserve of the Maderas Volcano with a mountain guide. In the afternoon you’ll have time to relax on the beach.
Day 05: Isla de Ometepe – San Juan del Sur
In the morning we’ll visit Charco Verde Lagoon and the petroglyphs. Then we’ll take the ferry to San Jorge. When we arrive we’ll transfer you to San Juan del Sur beach.
Day 06: San Juan del Sur – Peñas Blancas
According to your departure time, transfer to Peñas Blancas Border. End our services.
