Nicaragua in your hands
Our first destination is Ometepe Island, the biggest island in the world located inside a fresh water lake. The island is formed by two volcanoes, Concepcion and Maderas. Then we will go to the charming colonial city of Granada where we will do a city tour and visit the Islets.
Continuing our trip we’ll visit Masaya Volcano National Park, which is the only volcano in the western hemisphere where you can drive along paved roads that lead right up to the rim of the smoking crater mouth.
The next destination is Solentiname Archipelago, formed by 36 beautiful islands. Los Guatuzos Wildlife Refuge contains a variety of migratory birds and mammal species in danger of extinction.
Itinerary
Day 01: Peñas Blancas Border –Ometepe Island
Greeting to your arrival at the Peñas Blancas Border. Departure to Ometepe Island. At our arrival we’ll do a cultural tour in Altagracia.
Day 02: Ometepe Island
In the morning trekking to the cloud forest reserve of the Maderas Volcano with an specialized mountain guide. In the afternoon you will have time to relax on the beach.
Day 03: Ometepe Island – Granada
Transfer to the dock at Moyogalpa to take the ferry to the mainland. Before our departure we’ll visit Charco Verde Lagoon. Land transfer to “El Mirador de Catarina”. Later, departure to Granada, when we arrive we will do a city tour.
Day 04: Granada – Masaya – Managua
To begin the day we will do a boat trip in Granada’s Islets. Later we’ll visit the Masaya Volcano National Park. Then we'll go to the Masaya’s Handicraft Market. Departure to Managua.
Day 05: Managua – San Carlos – Solentiname
Departure to the Airport to take the domestic flight to San Carlos. Later we will take a private boat to Solentiname, when we arrive we’ll do a Cultural Tour in Solentiname, visiting the artists workshops.
Day 06: Solentiname – Los Guatuzos Wildlife Refuge – Solentiname
Visit to Los Guatuzos Wildlife Refuge where we will have the opportunity to observe exotic birds, caymans and primates. Los Guatuzos covers and extended area of wetlands, being one of the best conserved areas of Nicaragua and Central American, it is of great importance in the itinerary of the migratory birds.
Day 07: Solentiname –Los Chiles Border
Transfer to San Carlos for take the boat to Los Chiles Border. End our services.
