Managua
Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, has been a witness of different historic moments that have shaped this particular city that has very interesting landscapes. During our tour you will have the chance to appreciate buildings that capture the history of the city and enjoy the views of Lake Xolotlan and Tiscapa lagoon.
One Day Tour
First we will visit "Old Managua", the historic center of the city where we will find some of the most important sites like the National Theatre Ruben Dario, recognized as one of the best theatres in Central America.
You will also have the chance to visit the National Palace of Culture, home to the National Museum, and next to the Palace you will see the ruins of the old Santiago Cathedral.
Another interesting site is Acahualinca footprints. These were discovered en 1874 and are approximately 6000 years old.
In the “New Managua” you will have the chance to see the Metropolitan Cathedral, an interesting example of modern architecture, and the crafts area of the Huembes Market, where you can learn more about the local culture.
