Beautiful Nicaragua
This tour begins in the famous Colonial City of Granada, which has many treasures like the beautiful islets, as well as Masaya, the Folkloric city, is full of the traditions of Nicaragua.
To continue with the adventure, you will have the opportunity to go to the magical island of Ometepe and the luxurious hotel of Morgan’s Rock in San Juan del Sur.
Itinerary
Day 01: Airport – Granada
Reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in Granada.
Day 02: Granada – Masaya – Granada
First we will do a city tour in Granada. You will have the chance to observe the beautiful architecture and learn more about our history and culture at the San Francisco Convent Museum and Casa de los Tres Mundos. Then we’ll go to Masaya Volcano National Park where we can reach the top of one volcano by vehicle in a paved road and go near the edge of an active crater. We will continue to the Handicraft Market where you can find great souvenirs and beautiful crafts like wood crafts, ceramics, embroidery, hammocks, clothes and jewelry.
Day 03: Granada / Morgan’s Rock
Transfer to San Juan del Sur, located on a beautiful bay with great views of the ocean. On our way we’ll visit Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve and Catarina where you can marvel with the amazing panoramic view of Apoyo lagoon and Granada. Transfer to Morgan’s Rock Hotel.
Day 04: Morgan’s Rock
Free day Morgan’s Rock, located in one of the most beautiful beaches of Nicaragua.
Day 05: Morgan’s Rock / Ometepe Island
Transfer to San Jorge to take the ferry to Ometepe. Once on the island we’ll visit the museum with pre-Columbian statues, the church and we will take to Punta Jesus Maria to witness one of the best sunsets you’ve ever seen.
Day 06: Ometepe Island
You have three choices:
- Hiking in Concepcion Volcano to enjoy panoramic views
- Hiking in Maderas Volcano to observe the flora and fauna
- Hiking to San Ramon waterfall
Day 07: Ometepe Island - Managua
Transfer to Managua. Free day
Day 08: Managua
Transfer to the airport according to your flight’s departure time.
